Dance Lesson Registration at Dance Street
To register for a Session of GROUP DANCE CLASSES or our ROMANCE WORKSHOP please complete this form.

The next month's schedule is generally set the second week of the current month to allow for level II classes if there is enough interest. Frankly, we cannot say for certain when the next class of a particular dance will be taught so it's best to just create a shortcut on your desktop and watch our Dance Schedule page. You can also email us to be put on our monthly email list and/or find us at Facebook.com/DanceStreetBallroom.

We look forward to meeting you soon!
  • Sometimes names without faces don't register, so please tell us who you are.
  • We know it's annoying, but please confirm your email. This is our main method of communication!

  • Brand new students MUST start with an ENTRY-LEVEL class. There will be at least one entry-level session each month.

Learning to dance is a bit like learning a foreign language. We strongly suggests that brand-new students start with just one session of classes unless they have previous dance experience.

  • This entry level class majors in Foxtrot & minors in Swing. We will not rotate partners in this class.

This is your last chance for this class until September so please plan ahead!
  • 1 Session of Group Classes - $35/single, $65/couple
    2 Sessions of Group Classes - $55/single, $100/couple
3 Sessions & up - all the classes you are qualified to take - $75/single, $140/couple per month

Romance Workshop (3 weeks) - $100/couple - separate from regular group classes.

"Special Classes" are priced as indicated and are a separate fee from other classes.
  • Remember, it is up to YOU to make sure that your schedule will fit the classes. Sessions are 3-4 weeks long, once a week on the same day/time for one month. There are no refunds and credits (good for 1 year) will only be available after the first class of the month.

Classes are very affordable but to keep them that way means they run on a set schedule. You must start a session with the first class unless you get special permission to join the second week. There are no make-up classes. If you have to miss a class you are welcome to attend the next one and we'll do our best to help you catch up. (This depends of course on the size of the class, how many student helpers I have that night, and your aptitude for the skill.)

Classes are different each month so unused classes may not be carried over.

Rotating partners is REQUIRED in group classes (except for medical reasons) but NOT in our Romance Workshops. It sounds scary, we know, but you'll learn much faster this way. Non-rotating partners slow down the class making it more difficult to teach, so while we know that will keep some people away it's a rule we must enforce for the overall benefit of the class.

Classes are 40 min. long and workshops lessons are 80 min. ea.

Remember, most students will not learn every skill taught in a class the first time they are exposed to it. We all have different strengths! Please be patient with yourself and others so that this is an enjoyable learning experience for all, and an enjoyable teaching experience for me. :D
  • In order to keep our emails from becoming background noise or junk mail we only send them out once a month with the upcoming schedule. For the most up-to-date information we recommend making our Facebook page one of your favorites.

This is where we post dance opportunities, share locations where good dance bands are playing, etc. It's also a good way to keep in touch with your fellow dance students and see where they are going out dancing.
  • Please check all that apply.
